Hier ist es dann endlich, das langerwartete Remix-Album von Depeche Mode! CD1 und CD2 geben einen recht guten Überblick über das nusikalische (Remix-) Schaffen der Band, die CDs warten jedoch nicht mit sonderlichen Überraschungen auf. Empfohlen seider Air-Remix von "Home", der DJ Shadow-Remix von "Painkiller", der Portishead-Remix von "In your room" und vor allen Dingen der Überremix von "Useless", bearbeitet von Kruder & Dorfmeister!
Da dies jedoch schon alles altbekannte Remixe sind (zumindest fürFans) soll hier auf die (leider lediglich diesem 3CD-Boxset) beiliegenden Bonus-CD eingegangen werden. Auch hier befinden sich einige Remixe, die noch nicht offiziell veröffentlicht wurden wie z.B. der "Club 69 Future Mix" von "It's no good" durch Peter Rauhofer oder der langerwartete Daniel Miller Mix von "World in my eyes" (eines der Highlights dieser CD). Besondere Beachtung finden jedoch die extra für diese Remix-Compilation angefertigten neuen Remixe.

Kurzhistory zum Album

Enjoy the silence (Timo Maas Extended Remix): extrem sphärisch, mystischer Mix von "Enjoy the silence" den Timo Maas hier vorlegt, gefällt bei jedem Mal Hören mehr!
Photographic (Rex the Dog Dubb Mix): bearbeitet den Klassiker von 1981 zeitgemäß für das Jahr 2004, ziemlich electrolastig, ohne Vocals, sehr tanzbar!
Little 15 (Ulrich Schnauss Remix): ziemlich minimalistisch gehalten, grandiose Melodie, gefällt mir besser als das Original!
Nothing (Headcleanr Rock Mix): Headcleanr machen das Original etwas schneller, aber als reine Rocknummer, das elektronische des Originals ist komplett gegen E-Gitarren ausgetauscht worden! Wer die Headcleanr Mixe von Madonna kennt, weiß was einen erwartet!
Clean (Colder Version): der Anfang des Tracks ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da die Vocals von Dave Gahan völlig verzehrt werden, ab der Mitte des Tracks wieder normal! Der durchschnittlichste Mix der Compilation!
Halo (Goldfrapp Remix): dieser Remix ist durchgehend ruhig gehalten, im Laufe des Tracks verschmelzen die Vocals von Dave Gahan und Alison Goldfrapp zu einem Duett! sehr entspannender Mix!
Enjoy the silence (Reinterpreted by Mike Shinoda): wer Linkin Park mag, mag auch diesen Remix, sehr druckvoll, mit Synthis und Gitarren, typisch Linkin Park!
